My art starts as an emotion, idea and partial vision within me. I love the feeling that comes when those three elements connect. Then the adventure of expressing those elements into something tangible begins. The whole process is replete with positive energy and creates  a connection with those who will potentially experience my work.  I primarily work with steel. With steel, patinas and color I have found the right medium for releasing my creative energy and changing vision.

The large colorful free standing sculptures are made from steel and are both powder coated and clear coated using a “baked on” process. This finish is intended to produce vibrant colors as well as withstand the elements if sited outdoors.

The smaller free standing sculptures which have a “rust color” finish are made from steel and finished with a patina and clear-coated. They may be placed indoors or outside. Eventually they will start showing some rust which will enhance their character and beauty.

The wall pieces are made from steel and are painted with enamel and clear-coated or treated with a patina and clear-coated. They may be placed outside or inside. If outside, expect rusting on edges over time.
